RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGES
You have 30 days from the date of your original purchase to make a return or exchange. If for any reason you are not satisfied, return your purchase in it’s original packaging including all accessories, manuals, and parts, for a refund or exchange within 30 days. Returned goods must be returned in their original condition. However, if you have bought a product that has been installed, you may return it within 30 days if not used and in its original condition.
GIFT BASKET PICK UP:
Online gift basket orders may be picked up from our retail store! Please ask for your gift basket in the Flower Shop located at the front of the store.
GIFT BASKET DELIVERY:
Palmer’s Darien utilizes a third-party delivery service that will deliver your gourmet gift basket straight to the recipient of choice. The date and time of the delivery must be specified when you place your order.
We highly recommend you contact the recipient to let them know they will be receiving a perishable delivery. If requested, we will leave the basket at the recipients door unattended. Palmer’s Darien is not responsible for perishables left at the recipient’s door unattended. Palmer’s Darien does not accept any returns on perishable items.
If you need to change the date/delivery time of an order that you placed, you must contact us at least 2 hours prior to the original specified delivery time at 203-655-2077.
If the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery, the basket will be returned to Palmer’s Darien. We will contact both the giver and the receiver of the basket and attempt a second delivery, which you will be charged for. If the delivery is unsuccessful a second time, you will be charged for the full cost of the basket plus both delivery charges.
INCORRECT ADDRESS:
If the incorrect address is provided for the recipient, the basket will be returned to Palmer’s Darien. We will contact both the giver and the receiver of the basket and attempt a second delivery, which you will be charged for.
If the delivery is unsuccessful a second time, you will be charged for the full cost of the basket plus both delivery charges.
DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
You must report any visible damage to installed items within 72 hours of delivery and installation to be eligible for a refund or exchange. We carefully inspect each item that is delivered from our store to ensure it is free from damage. Defective product may be exchanged, prior to installation, within 30 days of delivery.
If installed items with visible damage are not reported within the 72 hour time frame, the refund or exchange will not be accepted. If your item is approved for being damaged, we will replace the item for the same model. If the item is no longer available you will receive an online store credit to use on your next purchase. Delivery charges are not refundable. We have the right to refuse a return if the return instructions are not followed.
SHIPPING
In stock orders are processed 24-72 hours of cleared payment, excluding weekends and major holidays. If an item is not in stock it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery. All orders are processed immediately and cannot be altered in any way. This includes billing, shipping, and product order. Shipping on orders is calculated when address is entered at checkout. All sales online cannot be picked up from our store. All sales will be shipped by USPS ground unless you choose another option at checkout. At this time we are only shipping inside the United States.

Palmer’s Darien reserves the right to disclose without notice to you any information in its possession if required to do so by law or upon a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with the law, to protect or defend our rights or property, or to respond to an emergency situation. Palmer’s Darien respects your privacy and will not share, distribute or sell any information we collect, including email addresses*.
*Please provide accurate email address when placing your order. Palmer’s Darien is not responsible for email addresses entered incorrectly, as this is how we will communicate information regarding your order(s).
