Megan began her career in the events industry at the age of 15, when she started catering parties for her family & friends. She graduated early from high school to attend the Culinary Institute of America, where she graduated at the top of her class, receiving both a Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Degree. In 2007, she opened Palmer’s Bakery inside the market and was the Executive Pastry Chef. The bakery has since gone on to win numerous awards and has become renowned for its specialty cakes and dessert bars. In 2011, Megan moved into the role of Executive Chef and soon after launched Palmer’s Catering.
Her unique experience with both the sweet & savory side of the kitchen, her never ending pursuit of excellence and her eye for design, have transformed the business from a high-end catering company into a full-service event production company. With food, flowers, desserts, event design and staffing all under one roof, Palmer’s now provides a one-stop event planning experience unlike anyone else in the industry.
In her 15 year career, Megan and her team have designed over 500 wedding cakes and coordinated over 1,500 special events.
