Located in northeastern Spain, the Catalogna region is separated by the Pyrenean mountains from southern France. Catalogna feels distinct from the rest of Spain, and its four provinces enclose an impressive wealth of natural splendour. Pyrenean peaks loom above meadows and fertile vineyards, plains are pockmarked with volcanic cones, and rocky coves punctuate sandy beaches.
Due to Catalogna’s coastal location, seafood dishes are impressive and vegetables, such as tomatoes, red peppers, aubergines, mushrooms and artichokes are in abundance. Spanish Jamon, Artichokes, Olives, Padron Peppers, Pan con tomate, Fideuá, a dish of Buckwheat Noodles and Calamari served with aioli on the side are just a few of the delicious foods you will be enjoying.
You’ll take part in touring—and tasting—at artisan food producers, explore local villages, dine in neighborhood restaurants and cook a traditional Catalan meal with a professional chef. We have customized this experience with a fantastic balance of free-time & guided activities with intimate group of just 8–12 guests.
