Palmer’s has teamed up with Italian importer, aTTavola, to bring you a unique, one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Go behind the scenes of traditional artisan food producers in their homes and workshops; listen to their stories, learn about the food they make and taste all of it along the way. Spend hands-on time in the kitchen and learn how to prepare a traditional meal of the region. Dine at the finest local restaurants, many of them Michelin starred, and enjoy 3 to 4 courses paired with wine. You will learn about the culture through sampling traditional dishes specific to the region. Stay the night and relax at unique 4/5 star hotels with top notch amenities and excellent service.
All of the below itineraries offer a brilliant balance between group and free time. We keep group sizes small, 6 to 12 guests, depending on the tour. We encourage the single traveler and do not charge a single supplement fee. Our guests are of a wide age range and share a love of exploring, learning, culture, food and wine. We would highly recommend to anyone seeking to tour Sicily. The food was wonderful, the cooking class was informative and a great deal of fun. Each day was a new adventure—carefully planned and never a hitch. We enjoyed every moment. We had a wonderful time with all of our needs anticipated!

As a native Mediterranean, Gioacchino has developed relationships with food producers, restaurateurs, olive oil companies, chocolatiers, vintners and confectioners. He has traveled the world in his business as an importer/exporter, taking part in food shows from Paris and San Francisco to Chicago and New York City.
